Higgsfield AI Pricing 2026: Avoid the Cheapest Plan

Higgsfield AI pricing looks simple on the page: three individual plans, two team plans and a credits slider. It gets confusing the moment you try to budget, because the price on the card is not the price of a video, and the headline discounts are not always the real savings.

This guide is a buying and budgeting tool, not a hands-on test. It turns Higgsfield AI pricing into cost per credit, cost per clip and cost per year, so freelancers, small agencies and finance teams can decide before they pay. We read Higgsfield’s public pricing page on October 20, 2026, while logged out, with both the monthly and annual toggles checked. All prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT and local taxes, which Higgsfield says are calculated at checkout.

How much does Higgsfield AI really cost per month?

Higgsfield’s individual plans cost $9 a month for Basic, $29 for Pro and $79 for Max on monthly billing. Annual billing lowers Pro to $23 and Max to $59 a month, while Basic stays at $9. Credits start at 120, 600 and 1,800 a month, and Pro and Max have sliders for larger amounts.

The title of this guide comes from that last column. Basic costs $0.075 per credit, about twice what Pro costs on annual billing and more than twice what Max costs. The cheapest plan is not the cheapest way to buy credits. Team and Scale plans are covered further down, because they work differently.

Why does Higgsfield show you a different price?

The price you see depends on the billing toggle, the credit slider, active promotions and whether you are logged in. On October 20, 2026, our logged in account view showed different Max and Team numbers than the public page, including a Max slider that started at 3,600 credits instead of 1,800. Always confirm the number at checkout.

Five things change what a card shows:

• The billing toggle. Annual cards read “per month, billed annually”, so the number is not what leaves your account each month.
• Struck through prices. These are reference prices. On the Scale monthly card, $215 was crossed out and $169 was the price you pay.
• First period offers. The Team monthly card showed $69 per seat with a note that it renews at $79.
• The slider. Pro and Max cards let you move to larger credit amounts, and the price moves with them.
• Your account. The logged in Max card carried a “Change Commitment” button, which suggests it reflects an existing plan.

This may explain the pricing mismatch recorded in our hands-on Higgsfield review, where the same tier appeared with different numbers on two visits. We could not reproduce that exact mismatch, so treat this as a likely explanation, not a confirmed one.

Is Higgsfield’s annual discount as big as it looks?

Not always. Annual billing cuts Pro by 21 percent and Max by 25 percent, but Scale’s 30 percent badge is really about 11 percent against its monthly price. Basic costs the same either way. Refunds are limited to the first seven days with no credits used, so annual billing is a commitment.

The Scale row is the one to read twice. Its 30 percent badge is measured against a crossed out $215. Against the $169 monthly price, which is the price the card itself uses in its “Save $228” line, the real saving is about 11 percent. The Team monthly price of $69 is a first period offer that renews at $79, so we used $79 here.

How many videos do Higgsfield credits really buy?

Credits are Higgsfield’s currency, and the cost of each generation depends on the model, resolution and duration. The exact cost appears on the Generate button before you confirm. As a guide, an image costs about 2 credits, while a Seedance 2.5 video costs anywhere from about 15 to 60 credits depending on the settings.

The 15 credit figure is an inference, not a published price. Team’s 5,000 credits and Scale’s 12,500 credits are both described as about 333 and 833 Seedance 2.5 videos, which works out to roughly 15 credits each, and the cards do not say which duration or resolution that assumes. A 52 credit clip uses about 3.5 times as many credits. Treat the video counts on the cards as a best case.

How many clips does each plan give you?

Basic is simple: about 60 images, or about 7 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos according to its card. Seedance 2.5 is not included on Basic. Pro and Max can run the full range, so the table below divides their starting credits by the credit costs above.

What does one Seedance 2.5 clip cost on each plan?

Multiply the 52 credit clip by each plan’s cost per credit and the result is the plan rate, not a price Higgsfield charges per video.

How many attempts should you budget for?

Higgsfield does not publish a typical retry rate, and we did not measure one. The table assumes three attempts for every usable clip purely as an illustration, so replace that number with your own once you have a month of data.

Budget the attempts, not the clips. That is the number your credits actually pay for.

Which Higgsfield plan should you buy first?

Start with Pro if you need regular output. Choose Basic only to evaluate the platform, and Max when you need volume or the lowest cost per credit. Team and Scale make sense only when several people need a shared workspace. Match the plan to your monthly credit use, not to the feature list.

Basic: for testing the platform

Basic costs $9 a month for 120 credits. Its card lists up to 2 parallel videos and 2 parallel images, access to Seedance 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini, selected models and features, and no unlimited windows. It does not list early access or the unlimited marketplace. It suits a first trial, a few images and a handful of short clips.

Pro: the first plan that works for regular output

Pro costs $29 monthly or $23 on annual billing for 600 credits. Its card lists all Seedance models, all models and features, unlimited paid parallel generations, and 7 day unlimited windows for Nano Banana 2 and Kling 3.0. It does not include an unlimited window for Nano Banana Pro. For a freelancer who needs a few finished videos a month, this is where we would start.

Max: for volume and the lowest cost per credit

Max costs $79 monthly or $59 on annual billing for 1,800 credits, with steps up to 5,400. It adds a 7 day unlimited window for Nano Banana Pro and is the only individual card that lists the lowest cost per credit. At $0.033 per credit on annual billing, it is the cheapest way to buy credits on the page. It only pays off if you actually use them. Pro and Max cards also list free generations for several Higgsfield tools, with the counts shown on the card.

What does a five seat Higgsfield team really pay per year?

A five seat team pays $3,900 a year on Team or $9,000 on Scale, on annual billing and before taxes. Team costs $65 per seat per month and Scale $150, with 1,000 and 2,500 credits per seat. Enterprise is priced by contacting sales.

Are business credits cheaper than individual ones?

No. At these starting levels a Team credit costs about 1.7 times a Pro credit on annual billing, and a Scale credit costs about 1.8 times a Max credit. If credits are all you need, individual plans cost less per credit. What Team and Scale add is a shared workspace and credit pool, plus admin features. Higgsfield’s help center page on how plans work describes the individual and business structure.

What do the business tiers add?

On the day we checked, the Business tab also advertised a time limited unlimited Seedance 2.5 or Seedance 2.0 offer on Team and Scale with up to 30 percent off, and the cards said business verification is required. Promotions like this change quickly, so confirm the terms before you plan around one.

Is Higgsfield unlimited really unlimited?

Not quite. Unlimited on Higgsfield means specific models, for a limited window, used on higgsfield.ai only. Generations inside a window do not deduct credits, but unlimited access does not apply through MCP, CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer, and the pricing page warns that speed can be adjusted in busy periods.

The Pro and Max cards also say they include 7 unlimited and free generation models in total, with the full list behind a link. The visible card text does not make clear whether a window restarts each billing cycle, so open the Learn more link before you rely on it. Per Higgsfield’s help center on credits, unlimited and free generations do not deduct credits on the website, which means scheduling heavy work inside a window can save credits.

What extra costs sit behind Higgsfield AI pricing?

Taxes, top ups and expiry rules change the real bill. Prices exclude VAT and local taxes, subscription credits do not roll over, and extra credits come from Credit Packs whose prices appear only at checkout. Check your credits usage history each month to see what you really burn.

Credits are spent in a fixed order, according to the Higgsfield help center: subscription credits first, then Credit Pack credits, then promo credits, and finally Auto-Refill credits. The help center also says Credits Usage History logs each generation with the model and credits deducted, returns from failed generations, and a per-model breakdown. That log is the easiest way to measure your real monthly burn.

Do Credit Packs beat upgrading?

Higgsfield’s Credit Packs documentation lists fixed sizes of 100, 200, 500, 1,000, 2,000 and 4,000 credits, plus adjustable packs from 5,000 to 25,000 credits. It says current prices are shown at checkout, so we cannot give you a pack rate. Do the test yourself: divide the checkout price by the pack’s credits and compare it with $0.038 for Pro or $0.033 for Max on annual billing. Packs also need an active subscription.

What are the refund rules?

Higgsfield’s help center says you can request a refund within 7 days of an initial purchase if no credits have been used, with a service fee of up to 6 percent. Renewals are not refundable, and each account supports one active subscription at a time. We read these terms on August 22, 2026, so check the current wording before you pay for a full year.

Is Higgsfield cheaper per clip than its rivals?

On the clip we priced, Higgsfield’s Pro plan came out cheapest per Seedance 2.5 clip among five platforms, at about $2.51 on monthly billing, though its $29 entry price is the highest of the group. Competitor figures were last checked on August 22, 2026, so verify them before you buy.

Cheaper entry plans buy fewer clips. Runway’s $15 plan looks inexpensive until you see it covers about two of these clips a month. Is Higgsfield worth paying for? The finance view

Higgsfield is worth paying for when you will reliably use most of a month’s credits, because unused subscription credits expire at renewal. It is poor value for occasional use. Start monthly, measure your real credit use for one cycle, then decide whether annual billing saves more than an unused month would cost.

This is our analysis, not a Higgsfield recommendation. Four steps keep the spending honest:

1. Start on monthly Pro for one full cycle. Annual billing means paying $276 on Pro or $708 on Max up front, and renewals are not refundable.
2. At the end of the cycle, open Credits Usage History and read the per-model breakdown.
3. Work out credits per finished video, including failed attempts, and compare it with the tables above.
4. Only then choose annual billing, Max or a larger slider step, and add VAT or local tax to the total.

How was this Higgsfield pricing verified, and what changed?

We read Higgsfield’s public pricing page on October 20, 2026, while logged out, with the monthly and annual toggles checked on both the Individual and Business tabs. We cross checked credit rules against Higgsfield’s help center. Slider step prices above each plan’s starting credits were not captured, so confirm them on the page.

What changed since our August 22 update?

• We replaced the Starter ($15), Plus ($49) and Ultra ($129) plans with Basic, Pro and Max, which is the individual ladder on the public page in both billing modes. If you searched for Higgsfield Starter, Plus or Ultra, those names did not appear on the page we checked.
• Team and Scale credits are now shown per seat, which is how the cards present them.
• We corrected the credit spending order to subscription, then Credit Pack, then promo, then Auto-Refill, as the help center states.
• We removed the $0.05 per credit pack rate. Higgsfield publishes pack sizes but says prices are shown at checkout.
• We removed the 365 day unlimited claim, the One Day Unlimited bundle prices, the one day free trial claim and the business parallel generation figures, because we could not confirm them against the current page or help center.

What are the limits of this guide?
